Drug abuse, also known as substance abuse, is the habitual, damaging and consistent use of drugs or other such substances. This can start from mild addiction and can result in serious psychological or mental damage and injuries such as behavioral changes or damage to vital organs, to something fatal or deadly.

Drug abuse is considered as one of the leading causes of deaths all around the world. If not dealt with it can ruin a person’s social as well as personal life. Therefore, it is very important to get the treatment as soon as possible in order to avoid further addiction and body damage. Many rehabilitation and therapeutic centers have been set up for the very purpose of helping people fight their drug addiction and abuse.
