BULLYING

Bullying is defined as a behavior that involves the use of force or verbal abuse in order to gain social recognition or domination. It can be carried out by either threats, harassments, assaults or disturbing gestures and is not a one-time thing. The individual who displays such behaviors are mostly characterized as anti-social who might be facing personal self-esteem issues and thus develop the urge to display themselves as superior. This may be due to any differences faced by them either in race, religion, caste, age, size, language, appearance, gender, body and other such categories. They usually target a particular person, usually the ‘victim’, and can also be carried out in groups known as ‘mobs’.
