BOOT CAMPS

Noun

Boot camps are treatment centers that deals with struggling teenagers and helps in modifying their behavior for the better. Even though they are famous but are not always found to be effective as they can have an adverse effect on the person’s behavior instead of a positive one. The camps are mostly preferred by parents who have little or no control over their children’s behavior and their dangerous outbursts.

These camps have been famous since the 1960’s when they initiated and are mostly the go-to option for most of the parents. They are however proven to be mostly ineffective due to their inhospitable techniques and unfavorable results in bringing about a lasting change in the child’s behavior.

It is due to the lack of success and hostile techniques followed by boot camps, that parents should instead opt for another better amd efficient option like the residential treatment centers. They are not only proven to give out positive results but also provide the struggling youth with a caring environment.
