What Can Our Autism School Offer to Ohio Teens?

Every Ohio parent with a teen on the autism spectrum knows how hard it is to find a suitable autism school that has everything needed for a mental and emotional progress of struggling Ohio teens. 

Seven Stars offers a complex treatment plan, specifically designed for each and every Ohio teen we admit. To be able to create such a plan, we start assessing our students from the very first day.

Ohio students that stay with us are given a number of medical and psychological tests as well as comprehensive analysis of their mental and emotional state. For Ohio teens who experienced a trauma or are having a hard time being separated from their families, our autism school offers a stabilization period that can last up to two weeks.

After assessment and a (possible) stabilization period, Ohio students are involved in academic and social life on the campus, giving them an opportunity to increase their cognitive abilities, work on their social skills and find new friends. Individual and group therapies are there so teens can get an individual guidance and their progress can be measured. The adventure therapy is a big part of our autism school as well, as it teaches our students how to confront their fears and how to be more independent.

When the treatment is completed, a thorough, multidisciplinary report is created by our autism school so you as a parent can more easily decide the next step for your Ohio teen.

Our autism school was founded with a mission to help Ohio teens with various mental disorders on the autism spectrum. We don’t want our students to just get better, we want them to thrive and be successful and independent. Even though there are many obstacles the Ohio teens have to overcome, our autism school believes that every Ohio teen is special and has a set of abilities on which we will focus. 

Our autism school is located in Utah near many natural wonders that are great for the adventure part of our therapy. However, even if you are located in Ohio, we would think it would be a good idea for your child to spend time with us.

Sometimes, children on the autism spectrum need to be separated from their daily routines in order to make a mental and emotional progress. Our team of experts is here to make sure that Ohio teens receive appropriate support and an individual treatment. A comprehensive assessment is done at the beginning to detect strengths and weaknesses of every teen so the best possible treatment plan can be created.
