Our autism school for Michigan teens combines several different types of treatment into one. At our facilities, Michigan teens on the autism spectrum will get everything they need to successfully overcome their obstacles, improve the quality of their lives, and reach their full potential. We at Seven Stars believe that, when combined together, residential treatment and adventure therapy can do wonders for Michigan teens with neurodevelopmental disorders. If needed, we also have a stabilization period in case we admit traumatized or struggling Michigan teens who first need to find their emotional and mental balance before starting with our therapy.

We admit teens in our autism school, ages 13-17, and create an individual program for each of them, challenging them academically and socially in order to get the best from them. It doesn’t matter if your home in Michigan is far away from our autism school in Utah. How Can Michigan Teens Benefit From Our Autism School?

Whether your Michigan teen is on the autism spectrum, has learning or social disorders, or maybe addiction problems, our autism school might be just what you are looking for. Here at Seven Stars, we offer a comprehensive treatment plan, divided into several phases, for struggling Michigan teens. Autism School Michigan

In the first phase, we evaluate every Michigan teen we admit so we can fully understand their strengths and weaknesses. We believe that every teen is unique, and therefore, needs a unique treatment plan that takes into account his/her abilities and emotional state of mind.

Most of our patients in our autism school don’t require a stabilization period, but we do offer one as part of phase one, just in case a Michigan teen that came to us needs some time to adjust and find the necessary balance.

In the second phase, we merge together residential and adventure therapy. While staying at our autism school, our students get to socialize with each other, improving their social skills, while being supported by individual and group therapies. The adventure therapy is 100% safe and can last up to 4 days at a time. During that period, Michigan teens can learn a new skill and get some outdoor experience.

At the end of the treatment in our autism school that can last up to 4 months, progress and future steps are discussed with the family.

National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) – NIMH is a federal agency with a goal of preventing and curing mental illnesses. They offer a lot of information about disorders on the autism spectrum, research new treatments and drugs, and conduct clinical trials in which individuals with autism can participate and benefit from.
